Omni Family Foundation is eager to partner with organizations, business owners, individuals, educators, union leaders, trade associations and other groups for in-kind donations, job training programs, fundraising activities and much more.
We are confident that we as a community can come together to make a positive impact for these youth at this critical point in their lives.
What might these partnerships, in-kind donations or programs look like?
All need to be focused on increasing the ability of former foster youth to live independently, to overcome the challenges they are more likely to face and find a surer path to successful adulthood.
This could include mentoring or training related to employment readiness and retention, financial management, learning how to shop for and prepare healthy meals, and finding safe and affordable housing.
Is there an opening in your organization for someone ready to learn a trade? Internships at your business? Have you been wanting to offer hands-on classes for your industry? Perhaps there are volunteer opportunities that could broaden perspectives and help former foster youth expand their sense of community. Are you interested in spearheading fundraising activities?
We’d love to hear your ideas, too. Please contact Page Walley, Omni Family Foundation Executive Director today.
